From there the selected applications are submitted to the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung for the final decision. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by the partner universities.

Acceptance of a scholarship binds the candidate to enrolment at the university in question, to the dedicated pursuit of his/her chosen course of study, and to attendance at Landesstiftung functions. On completion, scholars are required to write a short report (max. 5 sides of A4) of their impressions and experiences during their stay. Duplicate copies should be submitted to their Baden-Württemberg host university prior to returning home. They are then passed on to the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts in its capacity as project co-ordinator for the Landesstiftung.
