Database Information System (DBIS)
The University Library offers members of Reutlingen University and University of Education access to a number of academic databases via the database information system (DBIS). You can search these databases for literature or download full-text articles. Within the database information system you find databases that we subscribe to and which can be used on campus as well as freely accessible databases on the Internet. The databases are sorted by subject.

National licences
DFG - Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Council) has financed the acquisition of
national licences since 2004, in order to improve access to electronic information at German universities. Their aim is to supply academics and students with free access to databases, digital libraries and electronic journals. These electronic resources are accessible within the local campus network via
DBIS.
