Before you leave for Ludwigsburg:

Have you got all the necessary documents with you?
 
- Passport (or in the case of EU citizens identity card)
 
- Visa (applicable to non-EU citizens apart from Americans)
 
- Foreign health insurance (only if you are not insuring 
  yourself with the AOK) or E111 - or if possible - E128

Have you informed Student Services of your arrival time?
If not, call caretaker or Frau Menges.

Have you enough money with you 
 
- to pay the refundable deposit for your room in
  the students' village (approx. €300) ?
 
- to pay your health insurance premium
  (approx. €50 with the AOK) ?
 
- to pay your semester contribution
