Dr. Leslie Zenk and Prof. Susan Harris-Huemmert are exploring transitions into top university leadership in Germany and the USA. Their first publication is in the pipeline (Studies in Higher Education). The second project, which is being hosted by Prof. Dr. Dawson Hancock, Prof. Dr. Chuang Wang and Prof. Dr. Susan Harris-Huemmert, is looking at school leadership styles in relation to trust and engagement (USA; China; Germany). This project is currently being expanded to include colleagues from Egypt.
During the symposium, the PHL awarded Dawson Hancock an honorary doctorate for his longstanding services to education.
