Sharing grounds and building bridges: Higher Education and Urban Spaces in Dialogue

Following last year's inaugural summer school at the Ludwigsburg University of Education, this year's Fall Institut will take place at the Oslo Metropolitan University with our project partners. Through a varying programme of excursions, experiential encounters, symposium contributions and discussions, we will explore how bridges can be built between the diverse and shared life-worlds of educational institutions and their surrounding urban spaces and communities. Central to this will be an exchange of global perspectives, with contributions from partners in Romania, India, the USA and Canada. Engaging with questions about the responsibilities of educational institutions towards communities and pursuing reciprocal and sustainable partnerships aims to inspire future teachers to reflect and sensitize more deeply on the Geographies of Children’s life worlds.
