Here at LUE all students must put together their individual schedules. The same procedure applies to exchange students. When making your schedule you have to consider your Learning Agreement.
The Learning Agreement consists of 3 parts: “Before Mobility”, “During Mobility”, and “After Mobility”. In this agreement (between you, your home university, and us) you write down the courses you want or respectively are required to take in the part called “Before Mobility”. Erasmus students or scholarship holders must aim to obtain at least 30 ECTS points per semester.
You need to send us this first part of the Learning Agreement "Before Mobilty" signed by you and your coordinator before your departure; preferably sent to us via email as a scan. Remember: It is your right to have the courses you attended in Ludwigsburg recognized by your home university, if these courses were entered in your Learning Agreement and approved by your home university.
Should difficulties arise with your Learning Agreement (e.g. courses stated in the agreement cause timetable clases), there is no reason to panic. During the first weeks of your semester abroad, the LA can be altered subsequently with the permission of your home university and LUE. Those changes can be done in the second part of the Learning Agreement called "During Mobility". The International Office in Ludwigsburg will help you with your changes and all 3 parts (you, your home university, and us) have to sign the LA again.
After returning to your home country, you will also have to fill out the third part of the LA called "After Mobility" at your home university. The Learning Agreement you use can be either the standard document (newest version!) of your own university or the official ERASMUS for. The newest version can be downloaded here.
